B.A.A. Club 113 Relay Challenge
11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
An event for youths who are part of Club 113, a B.A.A. youth running program. This event is presented by the B.A.A. and adidas in partnership with the City of Boston. Approximately 20 youth groups will participate.

8 a.m.
A new 5-kilometer road race starting and finishing at Copley Square Park.

B.A.A. Invitational Mile
9:30 a.m. – Start of scholastic girls’ race
9:45 a.m. – Start of scholastic boys’ race
10:00 a.m. – Start of Professional Women’s Race
10:15 a.m. – Start of Professional Men’s Race
Featuring some of the top professional milers in the country and scholastic athletes from the eight marathon cities and towns. Start on the Boston Marathon finish line on Boylston Street in front of the Boston Public Library in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood.
Viewing open and free to public

Official entrants only; Entertainment, light refreshments, Poland Spring water, Gatorade Endurance Formula, tenting and portable toilets will be available.

The champions and top age-division finishers will receive their awards.

Boston Marathon Post-Race Dining Specials
5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
New this year, dining specials for marathoners and their guests. Reservations encouraged; Click here for a complete list of participating restaurants.

Boston Marathon Post-Race Dance Party
7 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.
Dancing, live entertainment and the entire Marketplace will be filled with street performers. The event also includes a cyber café/lounge to search race results and view video of the race.
