While there is no 'official charity' program for the B.A.A. Half Marathon like there is for the Boston Marathon, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund field a large team of runners every year who, through fundraising, help them further cancer research.

Each charity coordinator’s contact information is linked to their charity’s icon, and you can contact them for application instructions. These charities are currently accepting applications, and we suggest that you apply at your earliest convenience if you are interested in running for one.

Just keep moving through the finish area. Your medal will be awarded to you with your water and post-race refreshments.

We STRONGLY recommend that all entrants take the official B.A.A. buses from Boston to Hopkinton on race morning, as it is the only way we can ensure that you will get into Hopkinton.

Hopkinton State Park parking and shuttle is for volunteers and spectators only. Registered runners parking at this location and using this shuttle will not be transported to the Athlete’s Village, will have to walk an additional one mile from the drop-off point to the Village, and may be subject to additional security screening to enter the Village. Registered runners are requested to use the shuttle buses from the South Street parking lots in order to ensure their arrival at the Athlete’s Village.

Marathon Foto is the official photographer of the B.A.A. Half Marathon and representatives will take photos along the course and finish. Proofs will be mailed to all participants shortly after the race, or photos may be ordered on-line at www.marathonfoto.com.

Registrants of the B.A.A. Half Marathon should receive their bib number in the mail. If you do not receive your bib number by one week prior to the event, send a detailed e-mail to halfregistration@baa.org. You will be provided a replacement bib which you can pick up on site at Franklin Park. If you are changing your address between now and the B.A.A. Half Marathon, please let the B.A.A. know, so your bib number is sent to your correct location.

Free shuttle services, the MBTA, and our drop-off/pick-up location are your best bet. There will be no parking at the event location. Parking in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood is extremely limited, but some spots along the street may be available. For more details on our transportation program, click the button below:
