There is no waiting list for the Boston Marathon. Once it is announced that registration is closed, we are no longer able to accept entries.

The registration fee for the Boston Marathon for qualifiers is $180 USD for United States residents and $240 USD for international residents.

No. For safety reasons, baby joggers/strollers, in-line skates, skateboards and like vehicles of any kind, and animals are not permitted on the Boston Marathon course.

The Boston Marathon does not have official pace groups or pacers. However, if you are a qualified athlete you will be seeded with athletes with equal abilities. All qualified runners are seeded based off their qualifying times.
