This 2.3 mile run is Boston’s original holiday-themed fun run and will be held between 10 and 13 minutes-per-mile pace. It begins in front of the Hyatt Regency and loops through the Boston Common and the financial district before returning to the Hyatt for the post-race party. The event is not timed, and no awards will be given to the top finishers.
Dancing, refreshments, DJ entertainment, and Bill Rodgers will greet runners at this 21+ event. As is the tradition at the Bill Rodgers Jingle Bell Run, holiday dress and costumes are encouraged but not required.
Runners have the chance to run alongside four-time Boston Marathon winner Bill Rodgers, and receive an autographed picture of “Boston Billy."
All entrants receive a complimentary beverage at the post-run party, a voucher for two Boston Blazers professional men’s lacrosse tickets (Home opener, January 15), and food courtesy of Boston Chowda Company.
