20 JUN 2015
The race is on for Sunday, June 21

Despite an unfavorable weather forecast for Sunday, the fifth annual B.A.A. 10K will be held and will start at 8:00 a.m. ET.

The weather calls for a significant amount of rainfall – with rain heavy at times – beginning overnight and continuing into the morning hours. The possibility of thunderstorms does exist. It is not possible to predict the exact conditions on race day, but safety and common sense should always be the rule: in the event of a thunderstorm please seek shelter whether pre-race, on-course, or post-race. Please plan and dress accordingly. The race organization, operations and volunteer staff will direct you in the morning. You may wish to review the Participant Guide which was mailed to you in early June to familiarize yourself with the provisions and services which the B.A.A. will provide. All of this information is also posted on the B.A.A. 10K web pages:http://www.baa.org/races/10k.aspx

Temperatures will be in the 60s Fahrenheit.

No modifications to the schedule are planned at this time.

Please check the web site – www.baa.org – for updates and the latest information. Updates also will be posted to the B.A.A.'s Facebook page:https://facebook.com/BostonAthleticAssociation

You may also wish to check the local weather forecast and reports, for example http://boston.cbslocal.com/

Thank you for your cooperation.
