Six new organizations join next year's event

Today, the Boston Athletic Association announced the 32 organizations selected for the 2017 Boston Marathon Official Charity Program in advance of the 121st running of the signature event. Six new organizations have joined the B.A.A.’s Official Charity Program for the 2017 Boston Marathon, to be run on Monday, April 17, 2017.

Entering its 29th year, the Boston Marathon Official Charity Program enables select charitable organizations to raise millions of dollars for worthwhile causes surrounding the annual April race. In 2016, the program surpassed the $193.5 million mark in total funds raised since its inception in 1989. It is expected to exceed the $200 million milestone at the 2017 Boston Marathon.

A majority of the B.A.A. Official Charity Programs will begin accepting registration submissions on Monday, September 12. To find out more on how to apply and raise funds for each Official Charity Program contact each organization directly below.
