Dionne Rolls to PR, Runner-Up Finish in Providence
Hilary Dionne bolstered her running resume on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at the Providence Rock & Roll Half Marathon. Dionne, who is the 2011 USATF New England Marathon Champion and also holds the 2012 USATF New England Half Marathon title, ran a personal best 1:17:49 to take the runner-up honors. In April, Dionne ran a smart race in the heat at the 2012 Boston Marathon to finish as the second American woman. Her race on Sunday puts her in a good position for her goal later this fall as she contends for the title of 'New England's Finest' at the 2012 Hartford Half Marathon on Saturday, October 6th in Hartford, CT.

In addition to Dionne, the B.A.A. had a strong presence among the top finishers. Providence resident Katie Twarog was 4th overall in 1:19 flat and, in the men's race, Patrick Moulton was 4th in 1:09:51 and Keven O'Neil was 7th in 1:14:09.
