117th Boston Marathon Results
On Monday, April 15, 2013, just over 100 B.A.A. Running Club members toed the line in Hopkinton for the 117th Boston Marathon. For the third time in as many years, the B.A.A. Men's Open Team captured top honors. The victory marks the eighth title for the men since the team competition began in 1985. The women's team had a strong showing as well, taking the silver in the open competition. The Men's Masters Team also captured the runner-up spot. Individually, Patrick Stumbras was fifth overall in his age group.

Led by Tim Ritchie who ran 2:21:31, the trio of Ritchie, Ryan McCalmon and Ian Nurse combined for a 79 second victory. The Men's Masters Team of Harry Stants, Patrick Callahan and Wayne Levy posted a combined 8:02:08 for second in that division. In the women's competition, Hilary Dionne, set a new personal best of 2:39:34 to place 21st. She combined with Sarah Bard and Lindsay Willard to take silver. Both Dionne and Willard were part of the Open Women's Team that won the title in 2012.
