OUTDOOR PRACTICES

The workouts are geared towards those racing summer road races (5K to 10K), and focus on faster quality work rather than volume. These workouts will be a benefit to anyone, whether getting ready for a 5K or looking ahead to a fall marathon. As in the past, outdoor track workouts are conducted at the M.I.T. outdoor track at the Steinbrenner Stadium, next to the Johnson Athletic Center, in Cambridge. Meet at the outdoor track for a team warm-up 30 minutes before the start time. Please note that if the MIT track team is practicing, warm-ups may not be conducted on the track, your cooperation is appreciated. Also note that other M.I.T. teams may be utilizing the infield for games or practices. Metered parking is available on Vassar Street. Parking is limited and no guarantee can be made on availability.
