The B.A.A. Half Marathon Training Clinic Series is designed to help you run your best time. The clinics are free and open to all registered entrants in the B.A.A. Half Marathon and their guests.

Monday, August 8 – John Hancock Conference Center 2nd floor
Topic: B.A.A. Half Marathon Training Schedule and Program. Novice and Advanced nine-week training plans specific to the B.A.A. Half Marathon will outline the essentials of getting ready to run your best half marathon on October 9. Speakers: B.A.A. Head Coach Michael Pieroni and B.A.A. Assistant Coach Terry Shea

Monday, September 12 – John Hancock Conference Center 3rd floor
Topic: Biomechanics and Gait Analysis for the Half Marathoner; Proper Footwear and Apparel for optimum training.

Friday, October 7 – John Hancock Conference Center 3rd floor
Topic: B.A.A. Half Marathon course profile and tips for final preparation, including race day, from the B.A.A. coaches. A Question & Answer session will address concerns and all aspects of the event.

Clinic Agenda:

5:30 - 6:00 p.m. - Clinic Registration and exclusive discount of 20% off adidas footwear and apparel (excluding sale items) at Marathon Sports (Boylston Street, Boston) store for B.A.A. Half Marathon entrants.

6:00 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. – Tips, guidance, and advice from expert panelists.

6:45 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. - Individual question and answer session.

2010 - The Hoyts

When many think of the Boston Marathon, they think of Team Hoyt, the father/son team of Dick and Rick who have participated in their unique way 28 times. Dick was 69 at the 2010 Boston Marathon.
