CAREER NOTES:
 This will be Trina Painter's first race after entering a new age-group division as she celebrates her 45th birthday on June 24.

The Albuquerque native will be returning to Boston where she hopes to duplicate her first place masters finish which came in the Tufts Health Plan for Women race last October.

Over the past five years Painter has been one of the USA's top masters competitors, consistently running sub-6 minute per mile pace in several major national road races.

In the mid-1990s. Painter was one of the top American distance runners, posting a 10-K personal best of 32:17 at the 1995 Motorola East McDowell race in Phoenix.

2010 - The Hoyts

When many think of the Boston Marathon, they think of Team Hoyt, the father/son team of Dick and Rick who have participated in their unique way 28 times. Dick was 69 at the 2010 Boston Marathon.
