Event Information: Massage Therapists

Are you a Massage Therapist?

We provide Post-Event massage to our athletes and are looking for Licensed Massage Therapists to join our team. We accept students onto the team only of they are accompanied by their instructor; no lone students will be accepted. When registering online, massage therapy volunteers are considered medical volunteers and should say "Yes" to being a medical volunteer when prompted.

Note: In years past we have also provided Pre-Event massage to our athletes. We will not provide that service in 2014.

MASSAGE - POST-EVENT

Meeting Location: Back Bay Grand, John Hancock Hall
Expected Duration: 11:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M.
Captain: Jeff Forrest, LMT

A post-event massage center will be in John Hancock Hall’s Dorothy Quincy Suite (Berkeley Street building). Massage therapists provide post-event therapy, including emergency cramp management and care for injuries. Volunteers will distribute water, assist with table set-up, move supplies, and escort athletes. Therapists are responsible for supplying their own equipment.
