2011 B.A.A. Mayor's Cup Results

The 2011 B.A.A. Mayor's Cup featured a full morning of thrilling cross-country races with both narrow and wide margins of victory across all age groups and championship divisions. Lauren Centrowitz won the Women's 5K Championship, and David Nightingale won the Men's 8K Championship.

1928 - Hopkinton MA

The Boston Marathon began in Ashland, Massachusetts from 1897 through 1923 then moved to Hopkinton for the 1924 race.  Since then, the race has started in Hopkinton every year.
