The Boston Marathon will be streamed live online for free at starting at 9:30 a.m. ET.


CBS Boston’s WBZ-TV is honored again this year to be the exclusive, local broadcast partner of the Boston Marathon and the only local television station providing wire-to-wire coverage of the world-class race for eight consecutive years.  WBZ-TV offers a full range of Boston Marathon news, features and athlete interviews, from the predawn hours in Hopkinton to a complete wrap-up on the WBZ-TV News at 11:00pm.

Although Bobbi Gibb was the first woman to complete the Boston Marathon in 1966, it was not until the 1972 Boston Marathon that women could become official entrants due to a change in AAU rules.
