Below is a comprehensive list of important dates to know leading into the 2018 Boston Marathon. From when you receive notice of your acceptance to the time you arrive in Boston for the race, the Boston Athletic Association will be providing you with all the necessary information you need in order to get the most out of your experience.

UPDATE YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION

Beginning on February 23, all Boston Marathon entrants will receive an e-mail requesting confirmation of your mailing address. If your information has changed since you registered for April's race, you will be asked to update the form. Updating your mailing address is important, as the B.A.A. will be sending entrants their Boston Marathon Runner Passport, Number Pick-up Card, and Participant Guide in March. You'll need your Number Pick-up Card to get your bib on race weekend.

You will receive your Boston Marathon Runner Passport™, Number Pick-Up Card, and Welcome Booklet with race instructions. Bib number and wave assignment will be printed on that card. Your Welcome Booklet will contain additional information on race weekend, pre- and post-race parties, gear check, transportation to the start line, what to expect at the start and finish lines, and much more.
