Blue Diamond Growers to fuel athletes in advance of 2019 race
Blue Diamond Growers and the Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) proudly announced today the beginning of a sponsorship agreement naming Blue Diamond Almond Breeze almondmilk the presenting sponsor of the Boston Marathon Pre-Race Dinner. The partnership, which pairs the number-one global almondmilk brand with the world’s oldest consecutively run marathon, will benefit runners and spectators surrounding April’s annual Boston Marathon.

The Boston Marathon Pre-Race Dinner, presented by Blue Diamond Almond Breeze almondmilk, gives participants the chance to meet and mingle with fellow participants from around the world while fueling up for the 26.2-mile race from Hopkinton to Boston. Held at Boston City Hall Plaza on Sunday, April 14, the Boston Marathon Pre-Race Dinner menu will be full of Almond Breeze-infused dishes including a three-cheese mac n’ cheese; a garden salad with Almond Breeze-based ranch dressing; and Bread Pudding for dessert.
All participants in the 2019 Boston Marathon will receive one complimentary ticket to the Boston Marathon Pre-Race Dinner, presented by Blue Diamond Almond Breeze almondmilk. Additional tickets will be available for purchase later this month. Blue Diamond Almond Breeze almondmilk will also be present throughout race weekend, including at Boston Marathon Fan Fest at Copley Square.
The Boston Marathon is the oldest continuously run marathon in the world, spanning 123 years of history, and approximately 30,000 participants are registered for the 2019 Boston Marathon to be run on April 15.
