Join us for a Thursday evening 5K along the South Boston waterfront! Starting and finishing at Carson Beach, the Shoreline 5K showcases the scenic harbor with an out-and-back 3.1-mile course. Run, walk, or simply enjoy the summer evening at the Carson Beach Shoreline 5K!

Bib pick-up starts at 4:30 p.m., race starts at 6:00 p.m.

Registration

General Registration opened on Thursday, June 12 at 10:00 a.m. within the B.A.A.'s Athletes' Village, and sold out by Thursday afternoon. Registration was first-come, first-served, and the entry fee was $35.

Athletes who have a special access entry code can still register within Athletes' Village.

All athletes will receive a Carson Beach Shoreline 5K hat, plus event amenities and timing.

Entries are non-transferrable, non-deferrable, and non-refundable, and athletes must be 10 years old on race day to participate.

Instructions to Register

• Login to the B.A.A.'s Athletes' Village, or create a profile if you don’t already have one.
• Once logged in, click the registration button for the Carson Beach Shoreline 5K.
• Complete the application with your information.
• If you have a coupon code, be sure to input the code within the form.
• You’ll receive a confirmation email once your registration has been accepted.

Race Day Information

• Race Date: Thursday, August 7
• Bib Pick-Up starts at 4:30 p.m., Run/Walk Starts at 6:00 p.m.
• Starts and finishes at Carson Beach, near the Edward J. McCormack Bathhouse with the route running out-and-back along the shoreline on William J. Day Boulevard.
• All athletes will receive a Carson Beach Shoreline 5K hat, plus event amenities and timing.
• Arrive early as parking is limited! Public transportation or carpooling is encouraged.

Two hydration stations will be located along the course with Poland Spring Water.
