One World Strong Foundation
PLEASE NOTE THAT ONE WORLD STRONG FOUNDATION IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THEIR 128TH BOSTON MARATHON TEAM.
Founded by the survivors of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings, One World Strong is a growing and vibrant community of survivors and first responders who have overcome serious injury and psychological trauma to begin a new life. So, we understand the importance of connecting with others who have experienced similar forms of trauma and how it can aid in the healing process. And we want to be there to support survivors of future acts of hate and terror, regardless of where they occur in the world.
Through sharing our first-hand experiences, we offer a unique perspective on how to move forward and become resilient for survivors and their families, especially during the initial overwhelming weeks and months following a traumatic event.
To help individuals in need, OWS launched ResilienceNet, a mobile application that offers a range of services, including educational resources, peer support, violence prevention, and secure chat services. The platform is dedicated to providing survivors, first responders, refugees, and victims with the help and support they need to move forward with strength and resilience.
