B.A.A. Announces 125th Boston Marathon Programming, Race Starters, Grand Marshals & $125,000 Grant Recipients

BOSTON—With two weeks until the 125th Boston Marathon, the Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) announced today a slate of race weekend events and programming that honor the history of the race and support running for the next generation.

Will results be published instantly?

Will results be published daily between October 8-10?

Can I run through one day into the next? (i.e. time difference, starting late at night, etc.)

Will treadmill vs road running be counted differently?

Can I run on a treadmill?

Can I run it more than once?

Is there a time limit?

What about team competition? Is there team competition this year?

Will there be a leaderboard? Can I see my progress against others in my age group?
