Media Advisory: Boston Marathon Start & Finish Line Painting

BOSTON— The Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) has announced that the start line of the Boston Marathon will be painted tomorrow, Wednesday, April 13, beginning at 9:00 a.m. ET in Hopkinton (weather permitting). Additionally, the Boston Marathon finish line graphic will be installed on Boylston Street on Friday, April 15, at 8:00 a.m. ET (weather permitting). Members of the media are invited to attend the painting and decal placement. Please note that roads will be open to vehicular traffic.

New England Honda Dealers Partner with Boston Marathon & B.A.A. Distance Medley as Official Vehicle Sponsor

The Honda lineup will be at the front of the field as runners take to the course

BOSTON — The Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) today announced a multiyear partnership with New England Honda Dealers naming Honda as the official vehicle of the Boston Marathon and B.A.A. Distance Medley. A variety of Honda cars, trucks and motorcycles will serve in various capacities to lead nearly 30,000 participants at the front of the Boston Marathon.

First-Ever Boston Marathon Giving Day Set For Wednesday, March 16

BOSTON – The Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.), in partnership with Boston Marathon principal sponsor John Hancock, has announced that Wednesday, March 16 will be Boston Marathon Giving Day. The inaugural Boston Marathon Giving Day encourages all athletes and marathon supporters to help raise meaningful funds for the more than 200 non-profit programs affiliated with the 126th Boston Marathon. This year’s Boston Marathon is set for Monday, April 18.
