Series Info
All participants must be 14 years of age or older on race day of the final event in the series – the Boston Half – to register for the B.A.A. Distance Medley.
Field sizes are limited for each race of the B.A.A. Distance Medley races.
Participants who register individually for all three B.A.A. Distance Medley events and finish all three races will be recognized as Distance Medley finishers.
Age Group Awards
Your age group category in the Distance Medley series will be determined by the age in which you will be on race day of the third race in the series – the Boston Half. For example, if you are 34 years old prior or just after the Boston 5K, but will be turning 35 either before or after the B.A.A. 10K and prior to the Boston Half, then you will be competing in the 35-39 during the Distance Medley series.
Ranking will be determined by the total time of the three race results for an individual. Net times will be used.
Age Group Awards will be given to the first, second and third place finishers in the following age-groups for the men’s and women’s divisions: 14-19*, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-70, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+
Non-Binary Awards will be given to the overall top 3 finishers of the non-binary division.
Awards will be distributed following the series and after results have been verified.
Note: The minimum age for the B.A.A. Distance Medley series is 14 years old (must be 14 years old by race day of the Boston Half).
