Nearly 10,000 participants expected to race through Back Bay on Sunday, June 25

BOSTON – The Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) looks forward to welcoming nearly 10,000 participants to the 2023 B.A.A. 10K presented by Brigham and Women’s Hospital this Sunday, June 25. Running through Boston’s Back Bay, the 6.2-mile event serves to kick-off summer, starting and finishing at Boston Common. The race begins at 8:00 a.m. ET.

Registration for 128th Boston Marathon® presented by Bank of America to Open September 11-15, 2023

Field Size Set at 30,000 Participants for Hopkinton-to-Boston Race

BOSTON—The Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) announced today that registration for the 128th Boston Marathon® presented by Bank of America, to be run on Monday, April 15, 2024, will take place over five days, September 11–15, 2023, within www.baa.org.

B.A.A. Awarded Community Champion Award by MetroWest YMCA

BOSTON -- As part of the MetroWest YMCA Annual Meeting in Ashland on May 24, the Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) were awarded the Community Champion Award. This is an annual MetroWest YMCA recognition of an organization that helps build strong kids, strong families and strong communities by supporting their shared commitment to tackle the ever-changing needs of the community. BOSTON – The Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) has announced professional fields for the 2023 B.A.A. 10K presented by Brigham and Women’s Hospital, to be run on Sunday, June 25 through Back Bay. Among the challengers set to compete are Boston Marathon champions Hellen Obiri (2023) and Benson Kipruto (2021), defending B.A.A.

127th Boston Marathon Raises $40.2 Million For Non-Profit Organizations

Combined $500.2 million raised since B.A.A. Official Charity Program & John Hancock Non-Profit Program’s inception in 1989

BOSTON – The Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) has announced that $40.2 million was raised for more than 200 non-profit organizations through this year’s 127th Boston Marathon, held on Patriots’ Day, Monday, April 17.
