The Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM) and Mass Participation World (MPW) have joined forces to launch #togetherwemove in a bid to encourage the world back to mass participation events after the industry hit some big hurdles during the COVID-19 pandemic.

127th Boston Marathon Registration Reminder

Registration to be held within the B.A.A.’s online platform, Athletes’ Village, from September 12–16

BOSTON— With less than a month remaining until registration begins for the 127th Boston Marathon, the Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) today announced additional registrant information for next April’s race. The 127th Boston Marathon will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023, featuring a field size of 30,000 participants.

B.A.A. High Performance Team adds NCAA All-Americans Jenna Magness, Bethany Hasz, and Megan Hasz

BOSTON – The Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) today announced that NCAA All-Americans Jenna Magness, Bethany Hasz, and Megan Hasz have joined the B.A.A. High Performance Team. All three athletes will be coached by B.A.A. High Performance Coach Mark Carroll and will train in Boston. The B.A.A.’s High Performance Team is sponsored by adidas.

BOSTON—The Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) and Boston Children’s Hospital have announced a new multi-year sponsorship establishing a Community Race Series, bringing the thrill of road racing to a variety of areas in the City of Boston. The new Community Race Series will feature run/walk events for athletes of all ages and abilities at distances from one mile to 5K.
