BOSTON – Patriots’ Day Weekend will kickoff with exciting competition, as international and U.S. stars take to the roads for the 2023 B.A.A. 5K presented by Point32Health, and the 2023 B.A.A. Invitational Mile on Saturday, April 15.

BOSTON – The Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) announced today that Point32Health has been named the official health insurance provider of the B.A.A., as well as Presenting Sponsor of the B.A.A. 5K. The Massachusetts-based health care organization will be an official sponsor of B.A.A. events throughout the year, including at the Boston Marathon, June’s B.A.A. 10K, and November’s B.A.A. Half Marathon.

Boston Athletic Association Announces Pregnancy Deferral Accommodations for All B.A.A. Events, Including Boston Marathon

BOSTON— The Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) announced today accommodation enhancements pertaining to runners who are expecting or have recently welcomed a child into their families. Pregnancy and postpartum deferrals of entries will now be available for registered participants at all B.A.A. events, including the Boston Marathon (April), B.A.A. 5K (April), B.A.A. 10K (June), and B.A.A. Half Marathon (November).  

127th Boston Marathon Men’s Field to Feature Abbott World Marathon Major Champions, Olympic & Paralympic Stars

BOSTON— The Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) announced today the men’s professional field for the 127th Boston Marathon, featuring 15 men who’ve run under 2:07 for the marathon distance, as well as multiple Abbott World Marathon Major race champions, Olympic and Paralympic stars.

Among the field are global medalists, national record holders, Olympians and Paralympians, as well as five Boston Marathon champions.
