International Tour Programs

Each year the Boston Athletic Association receives numerous requests from tour operators to be included as part of the International Tour Program for the Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America. Unfortunately, as the program is limited, we cannot accommodate most requests. The B.A.A. will reach out to tour operators in the event that a spot does become available.

The International Tour Program (ITP) for the 130th Boston Marathon has been finalized.

Please note, all tour operators need the following:

• A full-time, athletic focused travel business that has been in operation for more than 3 years
• An appropriate business license and insurance according to federal laws and regulations
• Ability to sell all entries to athletes who live outside of the United States and a minimum of 80% of allocated entries to residents of its country of operation
• Awareness that all participants must submit their own individual event registration and sign the event participant waiver; tour operators cannot submit registration on the participant’s behalf
• A tour operator representative to accompany Entrants to Boston
