BOSTON (21-April) – A shattered course record, a monster move in the Newton Hills by a bib-less little brother and a sunrise surprise from a Boston legend: the 129th Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America will go down as a day of speed, siblings and sentiment.

ESPN Continues as Exclusive National Television & Streaming Partner; WCVB Channel 5 Continues as Exclusive Year-Round Local Television & Streaming Partner of the Boston Marathon and All B.A.A. Events.

The Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) announced today that ESPN and WCVB Channel 5 will continue as the exclusive national and local broadcast partners, respectively, for the Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America under a new multi-year extension. WCVB will also provide exclusive year-round coverage for all B.A.A.

BOSTON – In preparation for Monday’s 129th running of the Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America, we invite media members to review helpful resources, statistics, and storylines. BOSTON (19-April) — On a long-awaited April morning that finally sang of spring, a multi-national quartet led a field of 9,137 finishers in the 15th-annual Boston 5K presented by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care – this year on a new course that ended at the Boston Marathon finish line.
