The field size has been set at 10,000 participants and all athletes must be fully vaccinated in order to participate. Additional efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, including mask wearing and testing policies, may be announced closer to the race.

The B.A.A. 5K course is a scenic tour through Boston's Back Bay, taking participants down Boylston Street and across the Boston Marathon finish line.
The B.A.A. provides official entrants with an 8-week training plan in order to prepare for the race
Prize money will be distributed to the top 10 runners overall, the top three in the Masters division, and the top three in the wheelchair division.
The B.A.A. is pleased to support integrity in competition, and to announce it has contracted with the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency to provide an anti-doping program during the B.A.A. 5K.
