B.A.A. High Performance Team Adds Mass. Native Paul Hogan to Elite Roster
Nine B.A.A. athletes to race at USA Track & Field National Championships this week
BOSTON – The Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) today announced the addition of Paul Hogan to the B.A.A. High Performance Team. A native of Burlington, Mass. and recent graduate of UMass Lowell, Hogan will join eight other B.A.A. team members competing at this week’s USA Track & Field National Championships in Des Moines, Iowa, making his professional debut in the 10,000 meters on Thursday evening.
B.A.A. Half Marathon Registration
Registration for the 2019 B.A.A. Half Marathon, presented by Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund, opens Wednesday, July 17 at 10:00 a.m. ET. We will accept registration submissions on a first-come, first-served basis until the field size limit on 9,000 entrants is reached. There are 3,133 entrants pre-registered through the 2019 B.A.A. Distance Medley.

2019 Boston Marathon Sets All-Time Fundraising Record at $38.7 Million
The Boston Athletic Association and John Hancock support 297 non-profits with historic fundraising total
BOSTON (9-July) - Boston Marathon participants who ran on behalf of 297 non-profit organizations raised a record $38.7 million for charity through this year's race. The fundraising total represents an approximate 6-percent increase, or $2 million, over 2018 results.
